Moving forward, I am hoping to expand my audience, both by growing my twitter account and potentially creating an Instagram account if I have time. By branching out to Instagram, the focus of my posts will be images, and I hope to use this format to share more information such as statistics and graphs. Using images and videos will also make the twitter account more noticeable and interesting.
Leading up to the submission of the final Digital Artefact I am planning on sticking to my production timeline to ensure I stay on schedule, as I fell behind at the start of my project.

I think you have done a great job so far with your DA, and have made some good progress as discussed in your BETA video. Overconsumption will inevitably have such an adverse impact on our future world, so this area is super important to be speculating on.
For your actual digital artifact, I think that perhaps making some infographics or even timelines could be a really useful visual component to round out your tweets. Bringing in traffic can be difficult on Twitter, especially for serious topics as they are less likely to go viral. As consumers, we are all shaped by the media we engage with. There is actually an academic article on the library website called โDo online environments promote sufficiency or overconsumption? Online advertisement and social media effects on clothing, digital devices, and air travel consumptionโ. It breaks down different types of media and how it can influence someone’s behaviour in the area of overconsumption.
I think there would be a great deal of scientific data and statistics in regards to overconsumption, which could be great sources to tweet out. Numbers can be confronting, but often is a useful tool to get someone’s attention.
